…so James is all-smiles. On the first day at the winery a bus load of college students came for a tasting tour near this spot and got distracted by Evie. She was a popstar for a whole 5 minutes as they all wanted to have their photo taken with her and to stroke her hair. She got a chocolate bar out of it but we insisted she give half to Jex. Everyone went away happy.

Yes, it’s true – India does grow this heavenly nectar. I start work on Monday 12th at Sula wines (www.sulawines.com) in the Marketing department but before then I just need to get my head around Indian business etiquette; how to feed my children oh and how block out the sound of the car horns at 11pm. Joy!

Mostly the weather and snow was like this:

And of course the kids had a great time: both graduating from Marmottons Ski School. They are now competent snowploughers. Jex can make it down from Crêt du Loup unaided, which is no mean feat.
After an epic drive back across Europe we’re frantically repacking all our backs to dash to the airport this afternoon.
Next stop, balmy Mumbai!
