A Weekend in Igatpuri

For Valentine’s weekend, we took ourselves up to the ‘Mystic Valley’ resort in Igatpuri, which is on the edge of the Western Ghats on the way back towards Mumbai.
As with much of this area, the scene is dominated by spectacular scenery (in the background) and constant construction (in the foreground) – all bathed in a beautiful light.
Nevertheless it was a very relaxing weekend with a great spa and good quality swimming pool. Ah, and clear(ish) air! We’ll be back.
