Something on the riverbank that went >snap<

Cheerful villagers on the bank – check.
State-of-the-art mobile phones – er, check.
It seems to be a myth that rural Indians are anything other than first-class mobile citizens.
(Also I should add that we were in the middle of nowhere – but I still had a blazing data connection for navigating the channels on Google Maps.)
And the full set of our Keralan photos are here.

Hi Jayne, James, Evie and Jex.
Looks like you are having a wonderful experience in India, interesting locals, colourful scenery and great weddings! You will always remember 2009.
All well here. Had a good summer holidaying in Tuscany and walking in the Swiss Alps. Feeling a bit sore today as I did the ten mile in Phoenix Park yesterday. That’s me done and dusted in the running front.
Hope to see the family back in Dublin soon. Let us know when you are returning.
